When is move-in day?
Official move-in day is August 14th, 2017.
Can I move-in early?
You bet! We have a limited number of early move-in spaces available—so sign up early! There is a $200 early move-in fee that must be paid no later than May 1, 2017. Contact our office for more information regarding our early move-in date.
What methods of payment are available?
All payment must be made online via your resident portal. Don’t know your password? Call or email us and we can get your account reset.
Where is visitor parking?
The Park East Garage is located on Benton and Olive. Guests can park on the roof of the garage without a permit. More information will be provided in your move-in day packet and communicated to all residents should anything change. Oh yeah—there is also street parking available!
How do I request a roommate?
To request a roommate, please submit a roommate request to the leasing office by e-mail. You can e-mail email@example.com to request your roommate. Roommate requests are not guaranteed and are dependent on availability.
Can I request a certain floor, view or location?
Yes, you can submit any requests to the Leasing Office, but requests are not guaranteed. If you want to secure a specific floor, view, or location be sure to sign up on a Joint Lease versus an Individual Lease.
What is the clearance height of the parking garage?
7 feet. So, your big truck will definitely fit inside!
Can I sign a one semester lease?
Park East offers one lease term, which runs from August 14th, 2017 to July 21st, 2018. We do not allow for one semester or 9 month lease terms. However, you always have the option to sub-lease your apartment for the remaining months of the term.
Can I cancel my lease after I sign?
Cancellation of your lease will be permitted within 48 hours of your original sign date with penalty of paying the administrative fee of $325.00. If you are no longer interested in moving into the property following your 48 hour grace period, you will be responsible for finding someone to take over your lease obligations.
Do the different properties have different floor plans?
Yes, each of the buildings that make up the Park East neighborhood have different floor plans. Be sure to check out all of your options by looking at the floor plans per property!
Does Park East offer individual leases or are we responsible for the entire apartment?
At Park East, we know not everyone is the same. So, we have two different options for leasing with us.
Individual Lease: This option is best if you know you want to live at Park East, but don’t know who to live with. We will place you with roommates through our roommate-matching system and assign a bedroom to you! You can always preference your bedroom and apartment style using this system, but the office staff reserves the right to select a different option of equal or less value.
Joint Lease: This is the best option if you know exactly with whom and where you want to live at Park East! You’ll get to pick your apartment and roommates! It is important to note that by selecting a joint lease, you and your roommates take responsibility for the entire apartment.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, we love pets! Take note of a few of our pet rules if you’re looking to add a pet to your apartment. 1) Only 1 pet is allowed per bedroom and per tenant in the apartment 2) No animal over 45 lbs will be permitted 3) We have some breed restrictions. First off, we do not allow any aggressive breed animals to live on-property, which includes but is not limited to Pit Bulls, Rottweiler’s, Chow chows, Doberman Pinschers, wolf-hybrids, or any dog that has any of the above breeds in their lineage.
If you would like to discuss this further, please call the Park East office. The Park East staff reserves the right to make decisions on pets allowed in the neighborhood.
Is there a pet deposit?
Nope, but we do charge a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $500 per animal.
Do you provide a roommate matching service if we don’t have the required amount of people to sign a lease?
Absolutely. If you don’t know of anyone else to live with but really want to live at Park East, there’s no need to worry! You and your friends can sign an individual lease at any time and we guarantee that you’ll live in one of our Park East residences. You can also use our roommate-matching program that gives you more access, more freedom, and more control over who you live with.
Are the apartments furnished?
We offer furnished and unfurnished options. Please reach out to the office for pricing if you’re interested in an unfurnished option as there may be an additional monthly fee for furniture storage.
What is included with the furnished option?
The furniture packages differ slightly depending on floor plan. Most apartment furniture packages will include a couch, end table, coffee table, and bar stools for the common area; and a full size bed (no mattress provided), desk, chair, and hide-a-way storage underneath the bed. Depending on your floorplan you may have an additional chair in the living room, floor lamp, or kitchen table. Check with the Park East staff to find out what items will be included in your apartment.
What utilities are included with my rent?
Utilities are included on an allowance system at Park East. Therefore, you’ll only ever receive a bill if the total utility bill for your apartment exceeds the allotted amount. In the event that you do have a bill, you will receive it from the Utility Service Provider and be charged a fee of no more than $5 for billing. Please check with the Park East staff to find out your monthly allowance and utilities at your property.
Does Park East have on-site maintenance?
Absolutely! Park East has an on-site maintenance staff that work hard to respond and resolve all maintenance issues right away!
